Owen has been selected to provide LEED Enhanced Commissioning by the LACDPW. According to the US Green Building Council, “The Enhanced Commissioning scope includes a minimum of three reviews of the design at the schematic design, design development and construction documents phases. These reviews must cover the design against the owner project requirements and verify that the owner’s interests are represented, that the design team and their consultants have done their part to deliver a truly performing building that is water-tight, air-tight, reacts well with HVAC requirements and is thermally efficient.” The commissioning services provided by Owen will aid LACDPW in improving their overall energy rating, efficiency, and most importantly lowering costs.
