Owen Group is contracted by the County of Orange, Community Resources Department (OCCR) to provide On-Call Professional Consultant Architectural Services. The OCCR manages and operates a system of facilities of regional parks, beaches, harbors, trails and historic sites, regional libraries and buildings where animal care, homeowner programs, veterans, and older adult assistance services and other community services are being administered and provided to the public.
The OCCR requires supplemental architectural services to meet the demands and project schedules for capital improvements and rehabilitation projects throughout the County of Orange. To meet the needs of the OCCR, Owen Group is providing qualified and registered architects and design specialists on an as-needed basis.
Owen Group is providing design, architectural and professional consultant services which typically involve assembling, coordinating, and managing a team of multidisciplinary subconsutlants to cover all elements of a project. Owen Group serves as the primary point of contact for OCCR and subconsultant personnel, responsible for meeting the project schedule, managing correspondence, and submitting project deliverables.
Owen Group also provides pre-design services, including scoping, visioning, program review, establishing budget requirements, review of existing policies and project background documents, and coordinating and attending project meetings. Additional scope involved assistance with bidding, construction, and post construction services, such as reviews and responses to Contractor inquiries, site visits during construction to resolve issues, review of punch lists and close-out documents, and more.
