PORT OF LONG BEACH, ENGINEERING BUREAU

The Port of Long Beach (POLB) is actively engaged in maintaining, upgrading, and replacing its infrastructure and assets. Owen was selected by POLB to provide On-Call Professional Design Review services to assist POLB in achieving this goal.

Owen is providing design review services associated with accuracy checks, interdisciplinary reviews, independent reviews, independent analysis, value engineering studies, constructability reviews, and bidability reviews. Owen professionals review InRoads files, such as digital Terrain Models (DTMs), Geometry Projects (ALGs), Storm and Sanitary Databases (SDBs), and other associated applications. All design review services must be performed to ensure conformity to the POLB Design Criteria Manual and Quality Management System (QMS).

Owen also prepared documentation of our findings, participates in design review meetings, and performs back checks of revised documents.
